HOLIDAY RENTAL BOOKINGS
For clients who would like to rent their properties , IGH Property Management operate a specific rental program for short term holiday lets .
All properties can be listed for rental as part of both management options.
All rental enquiries and bookings from this program and rental administration will be handled by us , and then rental income will be forwarded to clients .
Any booking generated by us will be subject to a 10 % commission charge.
Clients with our peace of mind service will also be subject to a meet & greet charge.
MEET & GREET SERVICE
Prior to your guests arrival we will carry out final preparations to the property and leave a supply of toilet rolls and hand soap in all bathrooms. When the guests arrive we will meet them to hand over the keys and familiarise them with alarms , electrical appliances etc . We will inform the guests of our contact details , should they need any help or assistance during their stay .
A local area information pack is also placed in the property.
Upon departure we will meet the guest to collect the keys and then secure the property A post stay check will be carried out before any security bonds are returned .
Upon request , utility meters will also be read before and after a guest stay .
The meet & greet service is included in our complete package and is 20 euro per booking for clients with our peace of mind service .
Question - “ what rental bookings & income will you provide “
The honest answer to this is “I don’t know” there are literally thousands of holiday lets all competing for bookings , so we cannot guarantee any amount of occupancy . What we do guarantee though , is that we will actively market and promote your property on the leading holiday rental web sites and will only take bookings to benefit you and give you a return on your investment.
It would be easy to offer low rental rates with no security deposits etc just to supply bookings , but that’s not going to give you a return . Once you have accounted for commission rates , increased utility bills , extra wear & tear , breakages etc , you soon realise that high occupancy levels at low rates is not the way to generate an income from holiday lets .
Why do some companies do this then ? Easy - its because its good for them , they take their commission money , they take the cleaning payment , and they then charge you for extra maintenance , whilst having none of the extra expense that comes with high occupancy .
